Firstly, I hope that all the designs that my subcomm, CAD, comes up with are appealing to our buckle house population. I feel that there is a need for the designs to be appealing, so that there is a greater demand for products (i.e design merchandise) and if we design souvenirs (i.e for swimcarn, sportsfest), they should be appealing to so that students will have a good and lasting memory of the event when they look at the product. This can be achievable if we spend a greater amount of time researching on various designs and gathering opinions from house committee members because that way, we can garner feedback and perhaps improve. Judging from the students that I already know, most of them would prefer a cute design on many products. If we can gather more feedback from everyone, we can then truly design something that students will love and carry around more often.
Secondly, I hope that I will be able to form a great relationship with our new buckle juniors! I really hope our comm will work together well and make house a great experience for our new year ones. House is a very fun and exciting part of being a year one and I feel that being in house comm gives us a very important duty and that is to deliver the enthusiasm to the year ones so that they are more enthusiastic during house practices. This is why I hope that our comm will be very participative and will be very enthusiastic during house practices as this plays a critical role in making house a good experience for the year ones. We should also be more persuasive regarding various things like participating in sports and learning cheers as well because upper secondary students tend to lose house spirit. They have a huge share in helping our house in many areas such as sports and painting house banner etc. This is something that has to be done throughout the year to maintain the spirit among all of our students. If we try our very best to increase participation and increase enthusiasm, we can make winning house champion a reality as well as make house an enjoyable experience for everybody.
